Swimmers and coaches throughout the world know Regent LaCoursiere. He represented Canada at the British Empire Games (now Commonwealth Games) in 1954. He became one of the world's greatest marathon swimmers, winning eight word championships. His greatest claim to aquatic fame is his swimming school in Montreal. Since its opening it has spawned thousands of young swimmers - many of them less than one year old - all of them drownproofed, capable of survival in water.

Here is the sought-after LaCoursiere method described by Regent. Beginning with his unique survival course for babies this book goes on to cover every aspect of swimming for children an adults. Illustrated with diagrams and 137 photographs taken at Regent's swim school.
